Guangzhou is located in the Guangdong province in southern China. The city has a total area of around 7,434km2 and is the third largest Chinese city. Guangzhou is also above Hong Kong and has relationships with its economy with them. Most of Guangzhou's population are Chinese but the government reveled that there population count is now inaccurate because there are so many migrants from other countries. Pearl river is often named Guangzhou river because it is a extensive river system in Guangzhou. Guangzhou's average altitude is 21 meters above sea level. This is because most of Guangzhou is an Urban area.

Economy
Guangzhou may not be the largest city in China but it is highly developed in economics. Guangzhou is known as the trade center for southern China for its industrial, financial and transportation reasons. Guangzhou has well developed complexes with multiple regions of the buildings. Guangzhou has many factories that produce tractors, machinery, newsprint, refined sugars, cement, chemicals, transportation and many sports equipment and toys. Lot's of the things you see saying 'made from China' is actually made in Guangzhou. Guangzhou has an involvement in international trading being China's first trading point. Over the years The most thing that Guangzhou exported were textile (clothing) products. In the last couple of years Guangzhou has expanded it export center and now exports more things such as automobiles, software and building materials.
Culture
Guangzhou has many rich culture resources. Guangzhou's culture is connected with its history it has over 26 museums of historical and culture things with over 90,000 different pieces. many art staged festivals has made Guangzhou a renowned place for its culture life. Many festivals such as food festivals, spring and autumn festivals are held in the main city of Guangzhou. Guangzhou is a very diverse
country as you might have a McDonald and subway on one corner and then on the
other old historic buildings on the other. You might be walking down one street
and find Ferrari dealers and then go down the next street and find crawling
slums.
Tourism and attractions
Unlike other Chinese cities Guangzhou doesn't have many cultural related attractions. One of the most popular attractions is the Pearl River which runs through Guangzhou. People are able to have a tour at night and view the magnificent city. Another popular place is the Guangzhou/ Canton tower. This tower is 488 meter at is roof and 600 meters at its tip. The tour is divided into many sections, facilities and many entertainment floor where people can view the city. Other attractions include gardens, parks, museums, tours and visiting island. Guangzhou is rated the 5th best place for English speaking tourists because it is multi cultural and has good cuisine.
